Kenzo

Kenzo had his breakout year in 1970 when he presented his first collection to positive reviews, opened his first store, Jungle Jap, and had one of his designs worn on the cover of ELLE magazine . With his new found popularity Kenzo was able to present his next collections in New York and Tokyo. He won numerous accolades for his women’s wear over the next few years and finally entered the men’s market in 1983 but waited until 1988 before venturing into fragrances.

Kenzo de Kenzo or Ça Sent Beau as it is now known, was his first women’s perfume while Kenzo pour Homme, launched in 1991, was his first men’s cologne. However, it was not until 2000 that Kenzo Flower, his flagship fragrance, was launched. A modern and sophisticated scent with natural elements meant to bring freshness and renewal to contemporary big city life, Kenzo Flower is a clear and unusual scent meant to inspire the modern, nature loving, city dweller. Other popular Kenzo perfumes include Kenzo d’Ete, Kashaya de Kenzo, Kenzo Amour and Kenzo Jungle L’Elephant. Men’s colognes include Kenzo Air, Kenzo Power, Kenzo Tokyo and L’Eau Par Kenzo Pour Homme.
